I am moving to sydney in august?

i am a trained teacher, i also hae qualifications in TEFL and special needs. Do you think i will have trouble finding a job and what salary will i be looking at. Also do schools open as UK schools - 8:30-3:30 or not. thanks

There are loads of jobs available - no problem there. School opening hours vary a little, but they are pretty much as you described - the primary school my children go to in SA opens 8:45 to 3:15.

Salary is very good. You can search for it on the net if you don't believe me.

Timings are about the same as you mentioned, depending on the school.

Also opportunties for TEFL in tech colleges, to adults etc, meaning evening hours are also a possibility.
