How to do the defense and attack for black in chess game?

i do not know what the best defense for black and the best way to attack?When i play black i will lose.my friend say i must do ducth defense but i donot know how to do ducth defense.

The Dutch Defence really isn't sound.  I prefer the King's Indian and the Gruenfeld.

It usually depends on the first move of white. If my opponent does 1.e4, I do the Sicilian Defence (1...c5) which gives me good counter attacking chances because white usually plays:.

1.e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3

The half-open c- file will prove to be useful in attacking one you place your rooks and your queen are on that file.

You can learn the Sicilian Defence in these videos, I watched them when I was a beginner and really helped, it introduces you to some systems of the Sicilian Defence.

For 1. d4, I don't really recommend playing the Dutch Defence (1. d4 f5). It weakens your kingside a bit and is a very risky thing to do in the opening. I would recommend doing the queens gambit declined ( 1.d4 d5 2. c4 Nf6 3. Nc3 e6 4. Bg5 Nd7 5. Nf3 c6) Which is very solid. You may think that after  4...Nd7 black loses a pawn after 5. cxd5 exd5 6. Nxd5..

Well, 6... Nxd5! 7. Bxd8 Bb5+! 8. Qd2 (forced) Bxd2+ 9. Kxd2  Kxd8 and black is up a piece.

As black, meet 1. e4 with the Sicilian (1...c5).  The Sicilian Defense is great at holding your own against aggressive e4 players.  When playing against 1. d4, black has two main options.  The more defensive 1...d5 and the more aggressive 1...Nf6.  I highly recommend you avoid the Dutch (1. d4 f5).  Experiment on your own and see what fits you best.  Good luck!

I'm not very good with the Sicilian, but whenever I use it against 1. e4, I normally try my best to set-up an Accelerated Dragon. It seems like it gives me the best set-up for a counter-attack.
