How to cure the noise from my air intake on a 1999 Ford Explorer

The 6 cyliner engine makes a noise(HUMM) when the air temp gets above 80-85 F. The sound comes from the air intake system.

does it sound like a cow? a moo that keeps on mooing at idle only? if so, relace the "air-bypass" valve located on the throttle body.
