  1.  Comcast Cable offers to its consumers a DVR, or Digital Video Recorder, in some of its service areas. These boxes perform the function of  both a digital video transfer box and a recording device to record and save programs as well as pause, rewind or fast-forward live programming.

Its not that difficult to make comcast connection, you will first have to ensure that the system is not recieveing any power. It is discxonnected from all sources of power.

Then tightly s***w the cable cord, that is  wired around  your house from your service. Make sure that the cable cord is plugged in the back of your DVR. Its advisable to align the threads and to attach them securely without over-tightening. Such a connection will provide the signal from Comcast and your DVR will deliver the audio and video signals through its output.

After completing the aforementioned process, you should attach the video cables to the back of the DVR. The cables need will depend on the inputs for your television. For RCA-style inputs, match the color of the plug with the color of the input and push the plug in firmly until seated. HDMI connections have only one plug that you need to line up and insert with care.

Put in the other end of the cable to your television's inputs. Once again, match the colors appropriate to your cable with the plugs on your television or align and insert the HDMI cable-end.

Now turn the power on, the DVR will start and your programs would be visible. It can take an hour or more, for Full DVR capabilities to be fully restored when power is first connected to the DVR.
