  1. You must be between 25 and 60 years old.  That is the age requirement.  There are many more requirements.  If you need any other information about Costa Rica, don't fail to visit the TicosLand website.

  2. i dont know...

  3. To adopt internationally in Costa Rica, as stipulated in Article 106 of the Family Code, prospective adoptive

    parents must:

1 Have no restrictions on their civil rights.

2 Be over 25 years of age (single prospective parents). In the case of spouses, at least one must be over

    25.

3 Be at least 15 years older than the child being adopted. In the case of a couple, this is determined

according to the age of the younger prospective parent.

4 Demonstrate good conduct and reputation.

5 Demonstrate the necessary family, moral, psychological, social, economic and health conditions attesting

to their ability and capacity for assuming parental responsibilities.

As per Article 112 of the Family Code, persons whose habitual residence is a state other than Costa Rica

are eligible to adopt, either as a couple or as a single individual.

You can read about all the requirements on the official site:

    http://www.pani.go.cr/documentos/Interna...

  4. What I know so far is that possible candidates to adopt must be at least 25 years old and under 60 and if married it should be at least for 5 years.

Of course, you will need to be at the country to do all the paperwork and this process can take from 4 months to 1 year in some cases.

My cousin just adopted a child and the process didn't take so long.
