If you stay in hostels you can survive and enjoy the rest of your money 4 eating and for gifts.  Minimum in europe at that length 2K and up.  That's a conservative estimate you can get by on so watch your budget closely on what u spend and with transportation.  Have a safe and wonderful time.  I'm jealous...not really only a little bit b/c I want to travel all the time.
