Mary Tudor, who was Mary I of England, married Philip II of Spain . Twice she thought she was pregnant, but in fact she was not and she died on 17 November 1558.  She had no children and her half-sister Elizabeth Tudor succeeded her, becoming Elizabeth I, the greatest monarch England has ever known.
