  1. Hey,

I have it too. I know from my doctors that psoriasis is an auto immune disease of the skin. Your immune is making cells that fight off your skin cells. Sometimes, (like in my case) this can be a sign of a much bigger issue with your immune system. You may want to check with a internal medicine doctor for test to see how to stop the issue. You can get information on this by going on-line to AUTO IMMUNE DISEASES.  Hope all goes well for you.

  2. There's no way to be sure unless you actually have a skin test

My mum has it and it started when she was about 16 and there was no record of it in her family, its usually hereditory.

Its red patches of skin that are extremely dry and sometimes itchy,

They start of as little pink scab like things that spread to larger areas,

some people have it just on a certain area, elbows, hands, face or some people have it all over their bodies.

Better to get a skin test to be sure!

    Good luck
