  2. I use to work as customer service for the post office.  Call 1-800-ASK-USPS.  Describe the postage stamp to them, they can pull it up and give you the value of it over the phone.  The call may start off as an automated robot talking but if you keep giving it the wrong answer it will transfer you to a live human being.
