In my experience, flying from America to Rome is always the most expensive, around 1,300 sometimes. But I don't know where you're starting from. If you are starting from America, I would recommend checking out the prices for flying into Milan and then taking a second plane to Rome. Or if you'd be willing to do more moving around, flying to Dublin, Ireland was only 600 when I originally checked.

Look up some websites and find out!!! You may need to look for weeks or months to understand when you are getting a bargin and you will probably need to book a long time in advance for the cheapest fares.
