Well, you can apply for student visa and go to school here.  However, as an "international student", you are unable to work.  You can only work on campus and I think the max is 20 hours a week, which will not be enough if you are supporting yourself and don't have money.  

Also, if you have any skills (i.e in computers or whatever), you can look for a job in the usa that sponsors foreigners (i.e. Microsoft if you have computer skills) and apply for hb-1 visa if you have a college degree or hb-2 visa if you don't have a college degree.  However, I believe these visas are good up to six years depending on your contract with your sponsor (your american employer).  You can do more research online.
