Being cute will get you an audition... after that IT TAKES TALENT... and, since nobody on Answers has a CLUE about how much talent you may or may not have, then we really can't answer that.

Try going to places where country bands are performing and ask them to let you sing along.  Most bands will oblige you if for no reason than to have a good laugh at your expense when they throw you off the stage after 10 bars.  If they let you finish the song you know you must have some talent and if they ask you to sing another song, then you know you may have a career in Country Music.

Go to a pawn shop, sell all you have in exchange for a $20 guitar and then sing about your long lost lover on street corners and in bars. Some other good topics are: whiskey, time you've served in jail, your boots etc

If you get asked to leave, you'll know you're terrible enough.

You can become a country singer when you are discovered. to tell you the truth, it is all a matter of if you are good or not, i believe you are, try listening to carrie underwood music and get a feel for the music. meaing, find the beat, and you must be breathing correctly. Take deep breaths, fill your lungs to the bottom and give it your all. Make sure you aren't straining your voice, flex the muscles underneath your lungs and above you stomach when you take breaths. You can also hire an instructor, but it can be costly, especially if you aren't the richest of all people. But take my advice, this is what i have been taught in my 5 years of chorus!
