Snooker's John Higgins has emerged from an independent tribunal today that saw him given a six month ban for lesser charges of bringing the sport into disrepute, though more serious charges of match-fixing were withdrawn. But while Higgins will be free to return to the sport in November, his manager Pat Mooney has been banned from involvement in the sport for life.
