Question:

Help with picking a face wash, PLEASE read the details and pay attention to them?

Detail 1 - I do NOT have acne

Detail 2 - I don't have blemishes

Detail 3 - I'm looking for a face wash that makes my skin feel soft (if you have a face lotion suggestion to go along with it, I'd love to hear it as well)

Detail 4 - Don't give me a lecture on how nobody can tell me what will work for my skin because everybody's skin is different. I KNOW! I'm just looking for suggestions on products to try.

Detail 5 - I'd really prefer if the product were available at either Walgreens or Target, or both.

Thanks so much

  1. I have a perfect answer for you!

    Go to www.skinid.com

Skin ID doesn't only give you a face wash, but also gives you a moisturizer and toner.

Now, this has to be ordered online, BUT, before you stop reading, its personalized for your own skin.  You take a questionnaire (this is free, you can try it now on the website if you'd like) to answer questions about your skin, your skin type, and your lifestyle.  After this, you can order the personalized formula.

The type of questions they ask are "Is your skin oily, dry, normal" or "What is your stress level" and so on.

If you're really looking simply at those stores, then you may enjoy this from Target:

    Good luck!

  2. so i'm not intirally sure if this product is available at wal greens or target but it should be. i use biore pore minimizing foaming face wash in the morning and at night and i use biore black hed minimizing cream in the morning and once a month i will use a mixture of baby oil and salt scrub it on your face and rinse it off. i would use this mixture at night. and also mary kay products really leave skin soft.

  3. I'm going to violate the 5th detail by recommending Mary Kay's 3in1 Face Cleanser.  It's hypoallergenic and makes my skin feel very soft.  It's also good for ALL skin types.  I also use the moisturizer.  I love it.

  4. St. Ives Apricot scrub is fantastic. It exfoliates your skin which means it rids of dead skin cell buildup on your face, leaving your face soft.  Although you don't have blemishes, I would recommend the blemish and blackhead control one or the invigorating.  Also a face moisturizer to go with it would be Clean & Clean Day Soft.  It has SPF 15 so it's extra protection. And it obviously leaves your skin soft (: Good luck, tell which one you pick.

  5. I'd try Cetaphil.  It's available at most retail stores and some places (I think Target has, not sure about Walgreens) have re-produced it for less, but it's the same product.  It was recommended by my dermatologist and works wonders for every I have suggested it to, as well as myself.
