Question:

Help with Chinese translation/ Su embroidery?

Hello, I bought an embroidery piece when I was in Shanghai a couple of weeks ago. It was just delivered and I hung it up when I realized I had failed to ask what was written on it. I was wondering, does it say something or is it simply the artist's signature? Thanks for your help!

  1. Yea, you're right. It's just a signature.

Read from right to left, top to bottom. It has the creator's name, when and where the piece was finished. Sorry, I can't tell you specifics since I am not good at decoding the ancient style( celestial stem) Chinese of expressing when and where.
