Has anyone used the Kiddy Guard Gate?

Question

It's a mesh, retractable gate. This is for my parents' place, since we have small kids but only visit once or so every month.

Has anyone ever had luck on a 45+ degree angle too?

WE HAVE IT

I LOVE THIS GATE!!!

It's a bit of a pain when you have new people around who don't know how to use the retractable latch (which locks up if you stop while unwinding it).

BUT - the kids can't figure it out, I think it's way more attractive and it was very durable.  We had an upstairs condo and had it up for 4 years before we moved and it never tore or broke.
