Harry Redknapp reveals he must sell to buy new players – EPL News
Tottenham Hotspur manager, Harry Redknapp, has admitted that the Spurs need to offload some players before bringing new faces to the White Hart Lane.
Redknapp revealed that Tottenham Hotspur Chairman, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 Levy, has told him that transfer funds must be generated from player sales.
Redknapp told the reporters, “There is nothing happening in the transfer market. I need to sell four or five players to bring in funds. The chairman has made it clear we need to move a few players before we can start doing any business.”
Tottenham are being heavily linked with a number of players but Redknapp rubbished such rumours and has asserted that the Spurs will not be in action until they sell.
“I keep seeing us linked with this player and that, but unless we reduce our squad numbers we will stay quiet in the market,” added the Spurs manager.
