Godolphin buys a majority share in the Jim Bolger trained Dawn Approach
Due to the fact that, Dawn Approach demonstrated his superior racing skills at Royal Ascot, Godolphin showed interest in him, and has now bought a majority share in the chestnut colt.
Despite the fact that the two-year-old is now owned by Godolphin, chances are that he will continue to train under Jim Bolger for the rest of the season, but will represent Godolphin and race in their colours in his future races.

The young runner remains undefeated in four starts, but his recent victory at Royal Ascot has established him, as the one to beat.
Under rider, K.J. Manning, the son of New Approach, out of mare Hymn Of The Dawn, used his swift pace to conquer the six furlong track in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes on 19th June, 2012, where he defeated the Richard Hannon trained,
Olympic Glory, by ¾ of a length.
Whelped on 23rd April, 2010, the chestnut colt started his racing career on 25th
March, 2012, when he entered the Tally Ho Stud European Breeders Fund 2yo Maiden at the Curragh.

Sent as the evening’s favourite, Dawn Approach justified his odds, and downed a 1 ¾ of a length victory over, Canary Row.
The two-year-old colt’s future plans are being decided by the new owners, and chances are that he will be taken to the Curragh. This was confirmed by the Godolphin website which stated:
"He will be aimed at the top end-of-the-season races, such as the Group One Goffs Vincent O'Brien Stakes (formerly the National Stakes) at the Curragh on September 15 and the Group One Dubai Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket on October 13, both run over
seven furlongs."
Pedigree matters when it comes to racehorses, and Dawn Approach’s sire, New Approach, was greatly appreciated by the Godolphin racing manager, Simon Crisford, who stated:
"It is fantastic how well New Approach has started his stallion career and Dawn Approach appears to have inherited many of his qualities."
New Approach, who is owned by Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Of Jordan, also had a successful career, where he claimed five Group 1 races in his eight victories out of eleven career starts.
