  1. I go on eating only if no one is there or my mum calls me in the kitchen secretly & give me a lot of things to eat...

  2. Somewhere in between the two, lol.  It depends how far into Ramadan we are when it starts. If it's right at the beginning, maybe I'll eat more. If it comes later in the month of Ramadan, then I'm used to fasting, and don't really eat too much. I usually drink something and have a little snack, because you do get a bit more tired during that part of your cycle, but sometimes I just forget because it's become a habit to fast.

  3. i munch!!!!! loool of course i do...why not!? But i do it in corners and in holes lol its shameful to do it in public cuz every1 will no why lol :P xx

  4. I'm not a girl, but as a Muslim, I have to say this

Every Muslim (man/woman) MUST fast during Ramadan, except for girls having their PMS, or sick people, or people traveling for long distances...other than that, EVERY Muslim must fast..

And there's no such thing as foods allowed to be eated during fasting, Islamic Fasting obliges us to stop eating and drinking anything

  5. I eat!!

  6. I eat but not let youngers know of that!

  7. You can eat, you are SUPPOSED to eat unless you want to stay hungry 'for fun'. :)

What I mean is, it is shameful for girls to be revealed of their menstruation thus, many girls hide and eat in private in order to avoid opinions and comments from other people who ARE fasting. Especially in front of men.

One thing you should not do, is NOT eat. That's ridiculous.

  8. i found an article about the things that you can eat during ramadan to keep from being malnourished. i'm not sure of the exact rules of the fast, but i hope this helps.

  9. Well, yes I do eat but not the way I eat in my regular days. I respect ramadan and those who are fasting all around the world. So, I do eat, but eat less and alone as to none can see me ~!

  10. yap some times we stay hungry all day by respecting others and getting some nafli reward

but some time a little bit eat or drink water

  11. When you can not fast during Ramadan, why would you stay hungry?!?, You can eat, but for the respect of holy month you should not eat in the public, but you dont have to go hungry.  No sin if you eat.

  12. I eat but not in front of the others who are fasting.

  13. yes of course girls should eat though perhaps its better not to be overly obvious about it out of respect to all the fasting people in the house.

  14. I do eat but not around people ;)

  15. stay hungry

i just mabe drink some water

  16. Somehow not so much, i don't feel hungry as much...~~

  17. allah understunds our physique

is forbiden to fast in period , u must eat

but after ramadan u must fast how much days u ate

anyways i dont feel shay to eat at home even around my father and brothers , they understund that is my right and they dont awake me in suhur

but i cant eat outside home

  18. You need to gather strength and fast, it is important that you do because you will be rewarded by God in life and after. If during Ramadan you get your period or you get ill or travel abroad, then you can/must eat.

However, consider making up for all the days you ate in Ramadan during other calendar days, because the rewards by God are great and he will love you.

    Bless you :)

  19. I eat good enough during those days..There isn't anything to be ashamed of.Allah made women are made like that.and moreover,we should be proud of that since that is what determines our child bearing feature.

Well, will all of us hide our tummy all 9 months 7 days during pregnancy due to embarassment that it is an outcome of sexual intercourse.

As a respect for those who fast,i dn't go eat infront  of them..But no such thing as  'hide in closet' as some girls here say..I wonder why they are so ashamed of something Allah destined for us.Do we curse Allah,"d**n it,you gave  me periods"..Next time when you curse so,think that Allah may hear your prayer and stop your periods and thus take away the blessing of having a baby

Be proud of being a lady as only we can have babies and move this world further...Unless we stop degrading ourselves, women around are not going to have a life...

Sorry if i sounded rude. Its many days since this qstn is being asked by many.I ignored it all,but since you(lavender) is not an easily offended person,i thought of sharing my thought here:)

No offense to anybody.Just don't move around yelling "Im on my periods'..Just be silent and move on as usual.Eat all food as others do while iftar..and eat during other times too bcoz you are harming your body by not eating.

Allah is not dumb anough to set odd laws. When Allah says,"Don't fast on periods",he is doing us a favour bcoz not eating while losing much blood will result in fainting and like stuff..So,TAKE CARE:)
