Fun things to do for 12 y.o daughter birthday party and sleepover?

I am wondering if anyone can suggest some ideas. My daughter is turning twelve. I was wondering what to do for her party and sleepover to keep her and her friends busy so they won't get bored. We usually do the arts and crafts type things, paint and decorate nails, and do tatooes. I am wondering if anyone else has any girly party ideas for her age?

Well, you could do what any other 12 year old girl would do.. make-up, paint your nails, pick a nice outfit out of your wardrobe and put it on add some accesories ( earings, bracelets, neckless) then do your hair ..do each others hair..curl or stratin it which ever looks best! once you have done that.. take pictures! Once thats done save the pictures and make sure there safe on your camera as you will need them latter, then have a little party ..turn on the music and have a little dance and just have funn! then once you get board of that.. get your laptop of computer and put the pictures you took to put on facebook,bebo,myspace..or what ever you have!..After you done that why not get a candle and some marshmelows and roast and u could get some bistets and make a sandwige out of them!..this is just somee of the thinggs!! Most kids like the same things, so you never know.. Ask her what she likes. And then there is the thing A LOT OF KIDS LIKE!! Listen im turning 12 next week and most off ye have it wrong no offence me and my mates orginised it and the main thing is 12 is almost a teenager and my parents are letting us do watever we want and were staying in our huuge mobile home outside and we live in the country when its dark we gunna go for a walk with torches and we going jumping off the pier, pranking eachother, energy drinks lots nd lots of sweets, makeovers, fashion shows, scary 15+ movies and then chick flicks and comedys, no sleeping at all, disco, making remakes of music videos, prank calling, chatting up guys across the phone, hooking people up probs, xbox, we have a pond with a waterfall and we gunna put soap and lots of fairy liquid to make it all bubbely and pretend we from like america and cycle to town, take millions of pics, secrets, i have like 4 to 5 girls coming, the whole theme is everything in the backround like the couch and stuff is white and then colorful sweets, cushions,throws,drinks,make-up,jewelry,balloons everywhere and then the bedroom will be nice and relaxed in case someone is really dying to go to sleep, make hot chocolate play music, lots and lots of popcorn and the hall will be a red carpet, and one of my besties coming earlier and we taking everything out of it and all my stuff in like posters to make i feeel more like a girls place! thats my kinda thing and im from Kerry and thats what we do for d craic! haha! hope it helps any of yez!! xx

I'm almost 15 but I'm 12 at heart so I think I know what they may want. Haha if its a mixed party and your kind of worried about that then check on them about every hour give them some space to mingle and maybe give your chiled some time to hang with his/her crush he/she will love you forever. there are some games you might want them to stay away from. like spin the bottle or seven minutes in heaven. I totally get that but let them play "kiss card" (what my friends and I call it)so what you do is you take a playing card put it in one persons mouth not all the way but the end clenched in there teeth. the person sitting beside them wll take the card using there teeth. if you cant hold your breath and let go you might get a little peck. its not as bad as seven minutes in heaven or anything like that i did it and i got a little peck nothing major but i giggled it away and my friends are still talking about it.

I'm going to get somethings of the internet like blowup palms trees, a blowup beachball cooler. And a few others. We're going to have dancing and food like pizza and ice cream. Another idea is going minature golfing. That's what I did for my birthday and me and all my friends had a blast and then we did a sleepover. well most 12 year olds like relaxed parties but my daughter loves the outdoors. so what we did was go to the beach and set up a tent, a fire, and a table. at the beginning of the party my daughter and her friends played hide and go seek in the dunes, and they walked in the beach. next they had a sand castle contest (they picked 2 partners) once they were done my daughter opened her presents and they had cake. once the party was over the birthday girl and 4 of her friends talked in the tent and made smores by the fire. at the end of the night they took a walk an dhad pizza for dinner. once again, they ate cake, and then they talked for a while and fell asleep

Don't put on a movie, 12 year old girls want to do something to remember and a movie will bore them. The right time to put on a movie is when they are falling asleep.  You could get a came called truth or dare which is very fun because you get to laugh and if your with close friends it doesn't matter if you embarrass yourself. Also my daughter played a game where you get a spinner to a game like twister or something like that and whoever it lands on you have to spill something about yourself like who you like. what my daughter did was a spa party. It was at our house mainly in the basement. It was a sleepover.

Food: Cheddar and sour cream and oinon chips, hot cheetos, plain cheetos, pretzals, grapes, oranges, strawberries

activities: made pizzas, painted pillow cases, scaventure hunt, doughnut activity


So what we did was let everyone get to our house, then just kind of hang out and talk. then i had the girls lay down on a futon, or a bed, with towels on them, so i and my helpers could put the facials on them. the facials were bananas and yogurt crushed. It works really well! Then we put cucumbers on there eyes and let them relax with suthing music playing. Then we washed it off and moved on to makeup hair and nails. We had our 15 year old helpers do hair and maeup, and i did nails. We did fingernails and toenails. When i did toenails, i gave them foot massages. Then after we were done with all of that, i had them put on there fancy dresses they brought with them so they could walk down the red carpet to the dining room where they eat there pizza. We had the birthday girl go last. After that, i had the girls go on a scaventure hunt around the neighborhood. They liked that. Then we did this game where there are little sayings that you have to do inside of a baloon that you have to pop. Its sort of like hot potato, music is playing and when it stops, whoever it lands on has to pop the balloon and do what it says. You should make the sayings funny. Then i sort of had them settle in and go into our theatre and watch a couple movies. Twilight, the proposal,and step up 2 the streets. Then they got settled in the basement and watched tv. By then it was like 12:00. They stayed up pretty much all night. Then for breakfest, i did this hanging doughnut thing. It is where you hang string from the ceiling and hang doughnuts from them. You have to get on your knees, put your hands behind your back and try to eat the doughnut. Whoever eats it first wins. by then they were on there own!

I love going to sleepovers and heres what i'd do... Rent a movie or something, have something cool like a chocolate fountain and let the girls stay up all night. You could do rating where each person rates each other through eyes nose mouth.... then total it up and who ever get's the highest point. You could do makeover and nail paints.... Ask your daughter what she might like to do, after all it is gonna be her party. However if it's a suprise party then ask nieces and stuff what they'd do. Keep going soon you'll get it.Good look

Im going out to dinner at a hotel and then camping out at my house.It is gonna be a blast. I am twelve. I invited 8 other girls.My sister did it for her party and it rocked. We are also playing volleyball with the net at my house. The best part about it is being with all of my friends at the same time. So no matter what you do, she will love you still and know that you tried your hardest. So will her friends.

If she is the girlie type girl do things like a at home spa, doing nails, makeup, hair, and massages. Don't forget to invite the friends to do this to! And do things like fashion comps, my friends like that stuff, I'm not but she might.

If she is into more adventureistic things, maybe go go-carting or rock climbing or even a scavenger hunt! Maybe she would want to go bowling too!

Maybe if she likes finding things, a picture scavenger hunt would be cool or a real life game of clue. I did that for my 11th b-day and I loved she might when she turns 12. When you play the real game of clue, label rooms and make sure peopl take turns, going in and out of rooms think who did what and how it happened, play just like the bored game only real.

(buy bright nail colors.. hot pink neon green neon yellow orange red...  and have them paint eachothers nails and see how creative they can be if you let them have some fun and leave them by themselfs to do their nails)
