Formula One: Michael Schumacher is the biggest threat to 2011 title Fernando Alonso
The two times world Champion and one of the toughest contenders of the 2011 season, Fernando Alonso claims that Michael Schumacher is his biggest threat for the upcoming season. The Ferrari driver proclaimed earlier today that Schumacher will be the "most
dangerous" rival on the 2011 Formula One gird.
The upcoming season is ready to serve the race fans with the most thrilling battle witnessed in the sport in decades. After 30 seasons, a grid carrying no less than five world champions is getting prepared. The seven times world champion and statistically
the most successful racer ever in the history of the sport, ‘Schumi’ is going to be seen on the track once again after having embraced an abortive 2010 campaign.
The two times world champion who narrowly missed his third title last season, Alonso, is getting prepared for a brutal season ahead. The winner of the 2008 season, and the only black driver ever in the series, Lewis Hamilton is also expected to be seen very
strong next season. Moreover, his McLaren teammate, and the winner of the 2009 season, Jenson Button is also adamant to come back  next season stronger than ever before. Last but not the least, this season's winner and the youngest champion ever in the sport’s
history, Sebastian Vettel will certainly come back to next year’s grid with a whole new confidence and energy.
Looking at this threatening grid the Spanish driver proclaimed that the next season will be a very exciting and challenging one.  He stated,
"There will be five world champions on the track and the most dangerous champion for me is always Michael… Now, in January, if I have to choose one name I have to say Michael. He is a seven-time champion, he has nothing to prove. He had a difficult season
(last year), but he is still a champion. He is still super class, and if the car is right he will be a contender."
While predicting other drivers’ performance next season, he hoped to see his teammate, Felipe Massa shine on the track.
“Hopefully our car is better than the others and my toughest rival next year is Felipe,"
Alonso said.
He also told the reporters that the youngest world champion, Vettel is going to give a very tough challenge to all the contenders, he concluded saying that winning the title will make him further strong and confident.
