Football Special Report: News from all the Barclays Premier League Clubs after the Weekend (Part 3)
(Continued from part 2)
Fulham
The Cottagers manager felt that both of the West Bromwich Albion goals should have been disallowed for offside as Fulham went down 2-1 at the Hawthorns.
Hughes said: "We were disappointed with the two decisions to give the goals that West Bromwich scored. From our point of view we felt that on both occasions players were in offside positions and therefore the goals shouldn't have been given. But there
you go - that is two weeks running that we have had key decisions and key moments in matches go against us. We have had another example today, so we are disappointed."

Liverpool:
The Reds young gun, Jonjo Shelvey is hopeful of getting more chances in the senior side after making his first competitive start in the goalless Europa League draw against Napoli.
Now Jonjo is looking to experience that on a more regular basis. He said:"It has to be the biggest night of my career, doesn't it? I thought I started the game a bit shaky but as the game wore on my confidence grew and grew. The manager put a lot of
trust in me to play but I feel I've repaid him and hopefully I can get more chances."

Manchester City:
Manchester City’s under fire attacker, Adebayor insists that he wants stay at East lands and claims that his bust-up with his manager proves it.
The former Arsenal attacker has often been left on the bench by Manchester City’s manager which has led to suggestions he could leave the club in winter transfer window, but the Togolese striker said: "I am committed to the club and the fight to win
things and the fans should know that.”
Reports have circulated in the past of rows arguments between Adebayor and his manager. He said: “I have had a row with the manager and so has Carlo Tevez. The reason we row is we are all so passionate. We just want to be part of a successful club. It's
not about money or egos. It's because we all want what is best for the team. These disagreements show we care. We have a shout, then get on with it. I think it's good. It shows we are hungry for success. It has been a difficult season for me. But I have never
regretted my decision to come to City and will keep fighting for my chance."

Manchester United:
Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney has no doubts he will soon be back to his best. The striker ended an intense week of speculation about his future on Friday when it was confirmed he had agreed a new five-year contract with the Old Trafford outfit.
However, he will not be able to assist Manchester United on the pitch for a little bit, as he spends the next three weeks recovering from an ankle injury, which was the cause of so much angst in the first place.
Rooney said: "I certainly can't wait to pull on the red shirt again. I am gutted to be injured. I just want to be out there playing, get back to form and doing what I do best. And I will be back to my best. I have no worries about that."

Newcastle United:
Newcastle veteran goalie could be as little as four weeks away from a return after shoulder surgery.
Chris Hughton said: "He is making a very, very good recovery. The timescale at this moment is about four weeks, unless I hear anything different today, which will be better news. But he has made a very good recovery and I expect him to come back in very
good shape."
