What is "Captain" in Russian. Also is there an abbreviated form in Russian, like the English Capt. or Cpt.

Captain in Russian is Kапитан. I wrote it with a capital letter since it's a title, and usually those are written in capital letters in Russia. Also, official titles are never abbreviates in correspondence or otherwise.

Example:

Capt. Miller in Russian will be Капитан Миллер.

or

Major Smith is Майор Смит
