The Second half kicked off from almost exactly where the first half ended. Arsenal were looking to be on top of things, while the Red Bulls seemed to be chasing shadows all over the place.
However, what was quite notable about the second half, was the fact that Rosicky seemed to have sprung into life, after a rather long time. The midfielder was building play from the midfield and looked to be in the best form of his Arsenal career.
In the 54th minute, Rosicky kept up his form and went on to win the ball from Marquez. He then played Van Persie on with a brilliant pass, however the strikers first time effort went on to sail wide of the mark, as it cleared the post.
In the 69th minute, the Red Bulls came close once again. McCarty played on Henry with a pass from the left and the forward tired a trade mark curling shot from the left side of the box. However, the forward seemed to just mistime his effort on
goal, as it sailed comfortably into the arms of Szczesny.
In the 84th minute, the Red Bulls finally managed to level things up in the game. A corner was played to Henry, who pass the ball towards Agudelo. Agudelo then went on to smack the ball across the face of the six yard box, only to see it get fumbled
into the back of the Arsenal net. As a result, the Red Bulls and Arsenal were both with one goal apiece in the game.
With just six minutes to go, Arsenal tired to push forward and try and pick up the very crucial late goal. Nonetheless, that goal never managed to come, as the referee indicated the end of the game, which resulted in both teams sharing the points on the
night.
