Question:

Earning extra money?

I am a trained primary school teacher, who qualified last year. Since then I have done 2 terms supply in a school in Year 1 but now that contract has ended so I'm back to day to day supply. On top of this my husband and I used all our (my!) savings to buy him a business, which is doing fairly well, but is only really paying for itself. So all household bills etc come from what i earn, and also so do his previous debts such as a loan for a car. He is a lovely man though and does work really hard, 7 days a week. Hopefully his business will start to actually pay him a salary soon, but until then we really have no money! It's the summer holidays so there is no teaching supply work, and round here doesn't seem to have summer holiday schemes apart from those that are staffed by people who do after school clubs during the year anyway. So does anyone have any idea how I can earn a bit of extra money so that we can pay our bills on time?! I thought about childminding but we live in a tiny flat

  1. Depends on where you live but if you look up Gumtree for your nearest large town/city you will see people looking to learn basic English under Skills. Ideal for a teacher I would have thought.

  2. www.myhomebusinesspays.com/danmyers

This is one the best and easiest ways to make money in the U.S.  There is tons of free training.  If you want, you can even get some free training and then see if it is something you would like to do.

  3. go to your nearest supermarkets and ask for temporary vacancien. my hustband is a manager and tells me they always have vacancies. so try it that way.

  4. Have you been to the Jobcentre or temp agencies?  If you're really desperate for money then you'll have to take on anything that's going.

  5. contact employment agencies and register with them - tell them you are looking for temp. work in admin. or as a clerk, they will want to know what computer experience you have. should be plenty of work.

  6. tutoring children can help
