yep it sure does,theres quite a few ski fields here,amazing though when you picture australia you think of red dirt,hot and dry but nope it definately does snow in certain areas

yes it does within the blue mountians within Sydney NSW Australia. Although in other parts of australia i am not quite sure. since I have been to the blue mountians within Sydney NSW Australia.

In a good snow season Australian snow fields are bigger than Switzerland and there are several ski resorts.  Canberra has very light snow about once a year, it melts as soon as it touches anything.  I have been here since 1990 and have only once seen it lying on the ground, and that was mostly sleet.  We had no snow last year.

All the big snow fields are in the south east corner on low mountains with a few small ones in Tasmania.  Snow season has not started, it will be about 6 weeks yet.

Of course the Australian Antarctic Territory is rather snowy.

yes in the southeren states New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia one of the most popular snow sites is called Perisher Blue google it is a beautiful place iv never been there unfortunately but will someday

To be a fair contest, we should exclude the towns directly in the snowy mountains (towns like Cabramurra, Adaminaby and Jindabyne).   This leaves the probable main contenders as Oberon, Orange, Blackheath, Katoomba, Guyra, Nimmitabel and possibly Cooma in NSW.   In Victoria, there's really only Ballarat, Bright and Beechworth.

Of Australia's major cities, Canberra is the most likely to receive snow, followed by Hobart.

In Australia snow can fall in the mountains of Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Tasmania. Sometimes snow has even been reported in the mountains of South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland though this is very rare. But basically yeah it snows in Aussie
