Does anyone know someone with the surname MCCAGH?

my second name is McCagh and ive got a huge family my grandparents had 12 kids together, BUT.. we do not no of any other mccaghs goin about , no one i know has heard of another mccagh family, and wen my gran tried to research it b4 she died she couldnt find anything, i know there is mccaghs in America but its a very un common name , ie (u never see a mccagh on any credits on tv or anywhere for example) weird or what if u no any thing plz help me

There is lots of spellings of the name, try McCaig, they came from Ireland and settled in Oban Scotland where John McCaig adopted people and gave them the name McCaig and paid them to help build McCaig's folly in Oban, he died before it was finished.. The McCaig's, going back in scottish history to the Campbell's Stewarts & McDonalds came from the Farqhuarson clan. It is also spelt McCaugh
