  1. any..? are all still in use.

look at a map of rome an all the big road going in rome are old roman road:

Aurelia, Cassia, Flaminia, Salaria, Appia, Pontina, Tiburtina, Casilina, Tuscolana e Anagnina. ecc.

  2. Many sites state that there are Roman roads still in use today, but the only one I could find specifically named is th Via Appia...the Appian Way in Rome.  It is named in many sites.  Many other roads are also named in some sites, but tho they can be clearly seen, they are not actually used.

  3. Via Appia..a bit outside of Rome..after the raccordo (highway that circles Rome)....is still the only access to some of the magnifecent private Vilas located on the Appian way.  The old road, rough can be seeing and driven by car.

Try the Appian way by Ciampino Airport.

  4. All the main roads to/from Rome were originally built by the Romans.  The Appia, Flaminia, Salaria, Portuenese, Cassia and Tuscolana to name a few are all road that are still highly trafficked today.  The most amazing one is the Appia because it still has the original cobblestone.

  5. Oh Yes, Some, such as the Via Appia and the Via Aurelia, still exist today. And the first part of the road led straight to Tarracina, today’s Terracina. Also, Via Francigena enters Tuscany at the Cisa Pass. The  Via Francigena or  Via Romea was first documented in 990 by Sigeric, Archbishop of Canterbury. Via Cassia: it branches off Via Flaminia at Ponte Milvio and leads to northern Italy through Siena and Florence; locations near Rome along Via Cassia : S. Maria di Galeria, Isola Farnese and Formello and there are so many more.... l.

  6. Via Appia is now closed to vehicle traffic & is now a bike path. But there is a major road that parallels it

  7. Check Wikipedia, it lists the major Roman roads still in use today, and there are lots.
