Do u have to be bonded to repossess cars?

  1. I'm not quite sure. What state are you in? In any case, the usual rule would be: no. If you've privately sold your car, go through the courts to get it back, plus damages in cases of non-payment.


  2. I would think so otherwise I believe it would be called car theft!

  3. I'm sure that you do:  licensed, insured, and bonded.

  4. In PA, you do not have to be licensed or bonded.  However in Georgia you do.

  5. It would probably help get you a job as a repo man but I don't think it's required.
