Do baby teeth have nerves?

My daughter knocked out a tooth tonight (baby tooth). My husband called the E.R. to see if we needed to take her in because of the big hole in her gums and the nurse told him that we didn't need to take her anywhere. She said my daughter would be fine and that baby teeth don't have nerves, only adult teeth do. She told him if she had knocked out an adult tooth she would not stop crying because of the nerve. Is all this information true? I can't find anywhere online that says baby teeth don't have nerves.

  1. i just broke one of my baby teeth eating sweet tarts and and it dosent hurt. last may i broke my two front permanent teeth in a bike accident and they didnt hurt either, even though the nerve was exposed. the doctors said i was in schok and i couldnt feel the pain. i want to know if my baby last baby tooth has a nerve because it dosent hurt and if i should try to pull it myself with the crack or have a dentist pull it. the crack is in the back side of the tooth up near the gums. its is my 5th tooth to the left and its the only tooth i havnt lost. its a moler. do baby teeth have nerves?
