  1. No because it's not a novelty.

  2. I'm not in it for the novelty value...

  3. I know it's getting SO boring not reading a fictional book of worship or praying to a fictional god.

  4. Yes. Mystical things are attractive.

  5. What's there to be tired of: no church, no prayer meetings, no bible classes, lie in on Sunday, no pious lecturing, no kneeling and praying trying to "feel it" and thinking that it's all a big pointless piece of pseudo-yoga.  No hymn singing.  You time is freed up to read interesting books and you can hang out with cool people.

    I've never looked back.

  6. Since non belief is their belief structure, maybe some fall away, but for the most part, no they probably don't. Not anymore than believers quit believing.

  7. Are you tired of being mindless sheep being herded and sent to the slaughter of "religious" leaders?

How many idiots contributed money to Oral Roberts because he said that God will take him if not enough money would be raised.

I once heard a comedian spout off some insight about our religious leaders.

"doesn't God deserve everything you have? After all he made you.  Doesn't he deserve to live in a mansion?  Doesn't he deserve all the money in the world?  Doesn't he deserve to drive a Porche?

Yes he does and he asked me to drive it for him"

  8. Lol, I would get more sick of being religous!!

  9. your little imaginary world of devils and angels is very tiny, i'm guessing

  10. An interesting question! But with what are they going to be tired of?

  11. i'm sure some of them do...hopefully before it's too late for them...lol. it's funny, but then again..s-c-a-r-y...Lord have mercy on them fools...lol.

  12. Since most atheists have always been atheists, I doubt there's any "novelty" attached to the label.  If they tire of anything, I would imagine it's of laughing at people like you who seem to think they're atheists in order to bother people like you who don't have a clue; their stomachs HAVE to ache after a while.  I doubt you matter much to an atheist; I can't say that I blame them.

  13. Oh, nice.  Call someone's thought-out belief a "novelty."

Considering the number of people who are atheists for life or at least adult life, the answer should be obvious.

  14. Heh. That oughta step on some balls...

  15. This is a bogus account, and you're probably a dude.

Sorry you're having such a tough time dealing with your transgender issues.

  16. Novelty value of a label? is there such a thing? That would be like people calling themselves Christians just because they think it makes them cool or something..

  17. I am atheist by default.  I am not an atheist because of the novelty of it.  This question is idiotic.

  18. Darwin is the answer you seek

  19. I never get tired of being me, being an atheist is simply one small part of the whole, one label amongst many..

I am also a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a bank (The First Bank of Mom), a chauffeur (Mom's Taxi and Transport Co.), a chef, a laundry expert (grass stains are my specialty), a seamstress, etc.

Novelty value?  There is no more novelty value to the label atheist than to the label christian, muslim, buddhist, etc....

Are you tired of your novelty label of choice?

  20. You are a f'n idiot to think it has any novelty value. Do you ask black people if they get tired of being black?  Cos it's the same thing.  If any human being develops a well functioning brain, they'll be atheist. That's it.  No one chooses it for novelty or what have you.  If you find yourself in an unfortunate situation where you gotta work constantly just to survive, trust me, you will get sick of being religious.

  21. Not really. It doesn't really affect my life. Most people I know here in the UK are atheist anyway so no one really cares.

  22. Atheism has been around longer than any religion. It's not a novelty.

  23. Most atheists are former Christians.  What does that say about what they want you to believe?

  24. I don't consider it a label. It's not like I define myself by my non-faith, it's just one of the many things I happen to be.

  25. What? I'm not an atheist for the sake of the label. The label isn't glamorous, shiny, nor comes with perks.

  26. yeah im an atheist because of the label it makes me look cool...

    next stop.. smoking...

  27. No, it means we don't have to spend every living minute of our days thinking about being watched and judged by an imaginary man.

  28. Do you get tired of worshiping imaginary beings?

  29. I sincerely WISH they would!!!
