Going on Carnival Imagination and don't know whether I should pack an alarm clock. Do they have a wake up call service? Or an alarm clock in the room? We have some early shore excursions and will probably be up late the night before. Don't want to miss anything.

  1. I recommend taking along an alarm clock with a night light when going on Carnival.

The rooms are wicked dark and the night light gives you a good reference point.

You can place a wake up call request but there are not always reliable.

Carnival does not supply alarm clocks in the cabins.

Also, take along a power strip.  The cabins usually one have 1 power outlet.

  2. carnival has a continual breakfast card you can put out at night with what time you want it delivered.. that's what i use for my wake up call..with coffee and rolls.. or cereal or fruit etc.. best way to get woke up if you ask me..

  3. I have been on 3 carnival cruises so far and haven't seen an alarm clock around the room, however I do remember them having a wake up service. But to be safe I would say bring a travel sized alarm clock or use a cell phone with the alarm clock feature.

  4. Yes, they have wake up calls, but why not bring one just to be safe?

  5. There is no need to bring an alarm clock, there is one in each stateroom and you are also able to get a wake up call.  if you are still nervous about not thinking there will be an alarm clock, bring you cell phone, they work on the ship now and most cell phones have an alarm clock built into them.

  6. On the last 5 Carnival ships I have been abord there have been alarm clocks in the rooms onboard.  There is no need to bring your own
