Do I need a one cent stamp if I have a forever first class stamp?

Price of postage went up, is the Liberty Bell "Forever" stamp cool by itself or do I need a one cent stamp also?

The Liberty Bell stamp is cool by itself.  The reason they call it the " Forever " stamp is that once you buy it, you can use it for first class mail no matter how much the price rises.

The post office was selling record numbers of the " Forever " stamp as the price was about to rise.  I personally purchased five booklets of them.

Forever!! Hello! The stamp is forever. I was standing in line the day the postage stamp went up and I heard the postal person answer that question 15 times before I got to him. He said you can buy a new 42 cent forever stamp and it will be FOREVER!  The postal guy was nuts by the time I got to him. So I said; If I buy two or three forever stamps and the US postal service goes broke; who do I contact?  He looked at me and was stupefied.  I said; Just kidding!  He didn't smile but he did record my address and I am now on high alert!!
