Discrimination in the story "Fahrenheit 451"?

In Fahrenheit 451 is there any type of discrimination? I would think there is discrimination against the knowledgeable?

  1. Yes, its discriminating against anything that is not government sanctified, TV, driving fast, that sort of thing. They do discriminate against knowlege and the pursuit of it.
