Did francium's radioactivity play a part in why it took so long to discover?

  1. yes because it is highly reactive and so doesn't stay as francium for more than 22 minutes. also, radioactivity hadn't been discovered at that time and so would not have been found due to the fact that they didn't understand how to.


  2. no it didn't. it took so long because they never had the right equipment then to properly discover it as it was so deep down in the earths crust!
