Hi a mate of mine is looking at for a new car. He needs to get a wheel chair in the back as he is somewhat infirm. Anyone got one of these Lacetti's and if so how do you rate it

Thanks

  1. Haven't driven one, but these may be of use;

  2. Considering Chevy in UK was Daewoo and Daewoo is an OAP car co. (no offence) it was probably designed for thi originally.

    Seriously though, the Lacetti Wagon is of a similar size to the Ford Escort Estate. My Great Aunt had one with wheelchair lift fitted and it wasy easy to fit a large folding wheelchair (electric type) into the back, along with a considerable amount of luggage. Since the escort's 1.6 16v engine could handle it, the 1.8 16v in the Lacetti should make easy work of it.

    Really hope this helps
