Chelsea release midfield pair
Chelsea have released Joe Cole and Michael Ballack. Both will be available on free transfers. Meanwhile, last season’s double winners will make a £25million bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Robinho is destined to leave Manchester City, as his representatives will tell the club that he doesn’t want to play for manager Roberto Mancini. Robinho could head to Barcelona, with a deal that would see Yaya Toure heading in the other direction.
