The day began with North Zone resuming their first innings from an overnight tally of 346 for four.

However, before the duo could sink their claws in, Central Zone made inroads by nabbing the wicket of Dogra, who perished with a knock of 37 to his name.
With the dangerous partnership coming to an end, it was Central Zone’s moment to make a strong comeback in order to prevent the batting side from reaching a gigantic total.
