  1.  This is confusing because my husband has an immigrant visa (CR-1 visa) and has been issued a SSN. However, he has not been issued an Alien Registration number (A#). Any clues why this is? Or when he will get his A#? (It's been 4 weeks since he immigrated. The SSN card came in the first week.)
