you can actually get pregnant by a dog but in most cases, the fertilized egg dies. in some cases, the fertilized egg lasts up to 4 days and in other cases, the fertilized egg lasts up to 3 months. in extremely rare cases,  the fertilized egg can last up to the birth stage and then dies shortly afterwards, it dies. so yes, a woman can get pregnant by a dog.
