  1. First - in response to princessbi2006, Oxford does do medicine and science.  So you look like quite the fool right now.

Second, good marks at A-levels so congratulations. Quite often it depends on volunteer work / extra-curricular activities for Medicine.  Because it is such a competitive program people with straight A's have in the past been turned down.  It never hurts to have backups, but on the whole you have a decent chance at an interview.  GSCE marks don't really matter much when you've done A levels.

Third, hope you realize you can only apply to Oxford OR Cambridge.  The idea behind this is that if you're qualified enough to get into one of the programs than you will be able to get into either one.  It helps reduce the application numbers for the Universities. Both schools have their pro's and con's.

I wish you the best of luck on your application.

  2. You mean Cambridge.

Oxford don't do medicine, you idiot.

It's easy to remember; Cambridge is for sciences, Oxford is for arts.

And I don't see why you couldn't get into Cambridge. They'll only look at your GCSEs if it's a really close call between you and someone ese. The most important thing is what you are predicted for your A-levels. Then there is how you do in an interview to factor in.

  3. sorry buddy, don't know that answer, but my cousin got into Cambridge at full scholarship for a postgraduate degree. She was recommended by her boss at the British firm she's working at. rShe didn't do GCSEs or A' Levels, she finished high school under our own education system in Bangladesh and completed her graduation from a uni. in Bangladesh.

But I must say your grades are impressive. If someone with that good results doesn't get in, I don't know who else will. All the best man! I finished my GCSEs this JAn and I got 7 As and my A'levels are next year..so i'm keeping my fingers crossed..(not that you care)
