Can I do the cancellation of my Malaysia Employment pass?What are the procedures and requirements?Please...?

My Malaysia EP will expire on Feb. 2009 and I now resign because I found a better job in Singapore. I want to cancel my EP in Malaysia before I start my work in Singapore. Is it possible if I will do the cancellation, no need to wait for my employer to cancel? What are the requirements? I worry if my employer will delay the cancellation then I cannot start my new job in Singapore..Please help me..
