Question:

Calling someone "Love"?

My friend does this to me a lot. I know he like me and I kinda like him but I'm kinda confused plus it won't work b/w us anyways b/c he lives far away from me now, but I always thought calling someone "love" meant you loved them. I mean isn't that a word the english use a lot?

Plus I must say I'm flattered by the word, I always wish for my future husband (whoever you are ) to call me that because it's such a sweet word of endearment.

  1. Oi, I really do hate to tell you...Calling someone love is usually in england/australia used for complete strangers, or from older people to younger ones. In America it means the same thing as "hun" so yeah... it can be a very sweet term of endearment, but most of the time it's just casually polite.
