Broly is the Legendary Super Saiyan! He did die but that still doesnt change the fact that he was the Super Saiyan from the legend. He was the most potentially powerful, if he had actually trained a day in his life he would be exponentially more powerful. His power level was constantly rising, he never actually trained he was accustomed to being the most powerful and never needed to train.
