Brock Lesnar: WWE’s and UFC’s success was on my blood, sweat and tears – WWE News
Brock Lesnar, former heavyweight champion of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Brock Lesnar made his ring return in WWE last week, beating John Cena and finally putting him to the canvas with an F5. In his backstage mike session this week on Monday Night
SuperShow, Lesnar said that he is a ‘war machine’ and that he took the WWE to the acme of success during his time.
He added, “Proud? I'm proud of everything I do. Let me tell you a little story. Eight years ago I left this company. I was a WWE Champion. Took this company to heights it had never seen before. Left the company, went to the UFC and became UFC Heavyweight
Champion of the world. Their success was on my blood, sweat and tears. Proud? d**n right I'm proud.”
Brock made his WWE return last week while John Cena was congratulating The Rock on his WrestleMania 28 victory. Brock came to the ring, offered Cena a handshake but instead delivered him an F5. This week, on Monday Night Raw SuperShow, Raw’s interim General
Manager John Laurinaitis introduced Brock as ‘legitimacy’ to the WWE universe. Brock came to the ring and praised Laurinaitis for bringing ‘legitimacy back to the ring’. Laurinaitis said that Brock is a fighter who does not fight to entertain others but he
fights to win.
While Brock was thanking Laurinaitis, John Cena came to the ring and slapped Lesnar across his face for whatever he did last week. The move irked the Next Big Thing and Brock smashed Cena’s face with a couple of hard punches to the face. Cena was all bloody
and according to Brock ‘his pretty face was bloody’. While the brawl was stopped by referees, security personnel and WWE superstars, it seemed like Brock did not get enough of it. Later on, when Cena defeated David Otunga, Lesnar came to the ring and delivered
yet another F5 to him.
Lesnar and Cena are currently scheduled to face each other at WWE’s Extreme Rules. Details of the match are not yet been released but speculations are that it would be a No Holds Barred match.
