Coyle said that the forward will have the opportunity to prove himself at Chelsea when he returns in the summer but with the likes of Fernando Torres, Didier Drogba and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Anelka-c27786, it will be a difficult task. He added that the striker is making his
way like young http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 has done this season after a loan spell with his side last term.
“Daniel will have an opportunity at Chelsea when he goes back – but they are a formidable team. I am delighted for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florent-Malouda-c13838 and Nicolas Anelka. Daniel is making his way in the
game and is set for a glittering career. But like Jack Wilshere last year, he will need to continue playing to do that,” the manager was quoted as saying.
The tactician hailed the youngster’s confidence and revealed that Sturridge has developed immensely as a player in the few months he has been at the Reebok Stadium.
The former Burnley manager admitted that the 21-year-old is highly confident after scoring some great goals recently and rated him as an integral part of his plans next season.
“Daniel has taken confidence from starting here. It’s what comes from being an integral part of what you are doing. You develop as a character and as a person, too. Daniel and Jack, before him, felt a part of what we were doing here. I think it has helped
them. He is a confident lad to begin with,” Coyle concluded.
Bolton are currently 8th on the Premier League table with 46 points and have won 12 of the 33 games played so far this season, losing 11 and drawing 10 in the process.
