Well its been about 2 months since i bought this twin sized bed at ikea. Its a really nice bed but when i got it,i kind of rushed through the set up and kinda just did whatever. It was fine for a while until one day the bed caved in to the left slightly one night when i was sleeping.so i slept kinda in a diagnol position.and it has happened to me at least 25 times already.seriously....

so heres the problem (i like to tell a story before the issue ), so during the set-up,it came with the extra box with the metal beam that supports the sides to keep the bed up.i think there were two sizes of the beams but i end up taking the smaller beams instead of the bigger ones. anyways i found out my bed falls short of the width by like 2 inches so when i sit on the left side of my bed..the thing falls to the floor.

is there anything that i can buy, fix,or need for the bed to stay up?

  1. Can you buy some 2X4s, and have them cut to width, and then lay them across the rails to hold up the box spring?
