Auto racing or horse racing?

Which one takes more skill? Which is more exciting to watch, and generally which outranks the other? Thanks for any opinions!

Horse racing is much more exciting! It also takes the skill of jockey and horse.I think horse racing outranks car racing but I don't know who has more fans.

Horse racing without a doubt!

Anyone can drive around and around in a circle...LOL! Ever tried to ride a horse going 40 MPH? Doesn't sound too fast, but try it once and you will gain the utmost respect for what a 115 pound jockey does day in and day out.

I have done both and riding a race horse takes the most amount of skill, knowledge, technique and balance.  Sitting in a car is dang easy.  Staying in the middle of a 1200lb horse running 40mph with nothing, I mean nothing to hold onto is way more exciting.  At the end of a car race, it's not hard to tell who won.  The horse races are frequently won by the hair on a horses nose and it takes a photo to know who won.
