By "the look" I mean that look your mom gave you that lets you know to knock it off right now or else. I have a 4 year old that doesn't seem to get it. Is he just to young?

  1. There's no set age for figuring out "the look". It depends on how much significance that look should already be in their eyes. If they should knock it off or else, then until they get it, they should be getting the or else option, until they learn that that's what "the look" means. Just give him a reason to know that's what you're looking at him like that for and he'll learn fast enough!
