Anyone know good restaurants in Germany?

Either in the hamburg or hannover region?

There are loads, the food here is great and there is a very wide and varying choice. If you are in the Hannover area then I am not far and can recommend a local one in a place called Sarstedt just outside Hannover, it is called Am Bochsberg, well worth visiting.

As for Hannover itself there are loads and I would recommend the Argentinean steak house near the Kröpke in the city centre.

I absolutely loved dining out in Germany!!  No one is talking loudly, there are plenty of seating outside so that you can enjoy the scenery and folks strolling by - but I don't know of any in Hamburg.  When I went to Hamburg it was to visit my Uncle and his wife cooked each meal for us.  Now if you are going to Hanau any time soon, check out the little town of Erlensee - they have several delightful restaurants I'm sure you'll enjoy! what do you mean - German restaurants & good food don't go together - they know a d**n sight more about cooking than over 90% of the entire population in britain - nay, i would go as far as saying 99%!!!

there are many great resteraunts in Germany!! You should research it if you don't know for sure!
